Natasha Delany
Executive Director
Natasha Delany (Saddleback) is Executive Director and founder of Indigenous Project Events. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from University Canada West. Natasha is from Samson Cree Nation.
Natasha has been managing and coordinating small and large scale event projects since 2019 that specialize in indigenous experiences.
Doreen Cardinal
Event Manager
Doreen's career focuses on graphic design, event coordination, workshops, and youth-oriented and community programming. Over the past 35 years, she has amassed a wealth of experience in communications, administration, event coordination, management, planning, art installations, Indigenous liaison, programming, production, photography, and videography.
With a diploma in Graphic Design and Photography, as well as Aboriginal Child and Family Services, Doreen is a 2007 Esquao Award recipient in the community category. She continues to work with festivals such as Canada Day, Kaleido, Deep Freeze, and the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, among others, and is capable of organizing events at local, provincial, and national levels. Doreen's greatest passion lies in working with Indigenous youth, whom she finds to be among the most engaging and intriguing audiences. She believes it is essential to create safe spaces for these youth to flourish in life.
Arianna
Social Media Manager
Arianna is a Social Media Manager dedicated to amplifying the voices and stories of Indigenous communities. With a strong focus on connection and engagement, she strives to inform, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations through strategic social media initiatives.
By sharing diverse narratives, promoting events, and highlighting the richness of Indigenous culture, Arianna works to create spaces for collaboration and community empowerment. Her efforts are centered on celebrating cultural heritage and advocating for positive change through online platforms.
Cassidy Halcrow
Administrative Assistant
Cassidy Halcrow is the Administrative Assistant for Indigenous Projects and Eventsf. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Elementary Generalist) with an expected graduation in December 2025, she also holds an Indigenous Educational Assistant Certificate from Yellowhead Tribal College, earned in 2020.
Cassidy brings a wealth of experience to her role, having served as a Team Lead at Poundmakers Lodge Treatment Centre, where she provided cultural and non-counseling support to individuals in recovery. Previously, she coordinated youth programs at the Creating Hope Society of Alberta, facilitating Cree language classes and Powwow practices.
She is actively involved in the Indigenous Advisory Circle at the University of Alberta. With expertise in Google Workspace, Adobe Illustrator, and a strong understanding of Cree language and cultural practices, Cassidy is dedicated to Indigenous advocacy and cultural support.
